 | | As part of the Order’s on going commitment to Palliative Care, members of the Ottawa Commandery have worked to procure funds for a Bursary Fund to be established at Algonquin College. Generous donations from IBM and matching funds from the Ontario Government have been secured and these funds are being used to establish ten Bursaries in the College’s Palliative Care Program. The initial cheque for $5,200 is to support the newly created IBM/Saint Lazarus Palliative Care Bursary at Algonquin College was presented to Brenda Rothwell, Executive Director, Algonquin College Foundation by Justin Schmidt-Clever OLJ, Secretary and Allan Bird, CLJ MMLJ Commander, Ottawa Commandery.
