Calgary Commandery Charitable Works

2018 Charitiable Activities

Some of the Calgary Commandery members volunteered to serve the annual Holiday Lunch to participants in the Hospice Calgary Living with Cancer program. The lunch took place on 19 December 2018 at the Sage Centre in Calgary. The program is for people living with with a terminal cancer diagnosis and is one of the programs supported by Calgary Commandery donations.

2018 Palliative Care Conference

Education is an important part of our mandate. Glynis Grigg was speaking at the Annual Alberta Health Care Palliative Care Conference. It was held in Lethbridge this year. She spoke about the Order of Saint Lazarus, it's charitable works, fundraising activities, and resources for Palliative Care Institutions and Caregivers.
